Modern technology has allowed us to experiment with new materials and techniques. I like to work with quite crude materials such as silicone, polymers, concrete, sand and paint.
I also like that my pieces can stand on their own as sculptures and decorative objects or be utilized to hold water, soil and plants.
They can be used for many different purposes, but they are considered art because they are unique and aesthetic, with a clear concept behind their creation.”

Each RELIK piece is formed using a hand-pressed technique and artfully finished using both modern and traditional methods.
Variations or “imperfections” in the product’s finish are characteristic of the creation process. Due to this handmade nature, no two pieces are exactly alike.
All RELIK pieces can be used in both interior and exterior applications. While they can be exposed to the elements, some with more delicate design features may be fragile and should be handled with care.
Each of Relik's Dining Tables is a unique form of object art and functionality. Whilst we usually have stock in store for viewing, we also offer the opportunity to create custom colours and designs.
