"After travelling our beautiful north for several years, talking to the artisan women in their homes, in their humble homes, understanding the importance of keeping alive a cultural legacy and an autochthonous technique so characteristic of our original civilisations, getting involved in their production process and seeking together the tools that allow them to improve the efficiency of their work; We assumed the responsibilities of developing this project aiming the generation of a long term impact throughout the region.
We feel the need to present our art all over the world. To achieve a perception of the value of our Argentine region with noble products that express our characteristic virtues.
The next challenge was to find the market that understands the importance of our women's work, shares essential values, and is as in love as we are with the design and functional everyday spaces with art and style."
Buenos Norte Argentino's first collection was born with the name of "Classics". The design embodies the elegance of simplicity. Virgin wool creates both fine and thick threads.
Produced 100% on native looms in Jujuy, Salta, Tucuman, Catamarca and Santiago del Estero, each carpet reflects on identity, the perfection of imperfect yarns and the strength of natural colours.
Cream, dark brown and grey monochrome rugs. All of the colours come directly from the sheep. They also present yarns dyed with the same pigments that nature provides us, such as walnut shells, turmeric, carob shells, green leaves, carrots, beets, onion skins, saffron and wildflowers.
